
Outlook Email
The Trust has now adopted Outlook as the primary email client. Everyone
in the Trust, by next year, should have been moved to Outlook. Most people
in the Heart Centre are currently using Eudora or are in the process of
moving over to Outlook.
The Manchester Heart Centre Email server will be shutdown sometime next
year. Everyone by then will have been moved over to the new system.The Manchester
Heart Centre IT team will endeavour to support the users, but ultimately
the Trust IT service will have full control of the new system, and so any
problems should be directed to the Trust IT Helpdesk tel : 4328.
The Manchester Heart Centre IT Team will be able to facilitate setting up
their computers for the new email system and will be able to train people
on its use.There are two methods to access Outlook email. We can install
Outlook on your machine and you can use that. Or you can use the Web-based
Outlook email (Which can be accessed from any computer with a web browser).
